after much thought and consideration, i have decided to just go ahead and install win2k on my new machine... i figure what the heck, if it doesnt work right, all i have to do is format and reinstall ME.....------------------

Im running a duel boot WinNT and Win2000 profesional, im quite content with it, with the exception of a few minor registry problems i have to deal with...

Oh my god. You're just gonna go out and buy Win2k? I wish I had rich parents like you. I don't know what it is you guys do to your PCs, but 98SE is the most stable OS I've had on my system./me thinks your problems stem from the sheer amount of crap you install on your PCs. ME = lame. Have it at work and it sucks. 98se is the way to go.... Win2k will soon take over.------------------
