When i try and install UT (no the gold edition) it gives me this error

Critical Error
CoInitialized(NULL)failed(00000001)
History: WFilerWizard::OnInitDialog <- WWindow::WndProc <- WWindow::StaticProc <- WDialog: oModal <-Stetup

Im running Win98SE, have a GeForce2 MX, T-Bird 1.2ghz. any ideas? thanks

The only thing I can think of is the smileys in your program, usually game engines only read text

Thanks for the help but i figured it out. What it was, was that the Gravis Xperience joystick drivers conflict with eachother. So when i uninstalled the gamepad drivers she installed just fine.
