The cache folder has all the maps, skins, voice packs ect ect that you download from servers. You can delete them but then you'll have to redownload them again. Or you can use a cache manager program like I do. It looks at the contents of the cache folder and converts the different files to thier actual names and gives you the choice to make them permanent or delete them.
