WRONG. Where I agree with ghostdawg, UT is a copy. Correct me if im wrong here, but who invented the 3D shooter?? ID was it not? Give thanks to the gods of the 3D shooter world. If it werent for them, your precious piece of sh** UT wouldnt be here. IP: Logged |

Yeah that`s right; id gave us the 3d shooter...and the caveman gave us the club. But if we all followed id`s example; we`d STILL be playing re-hashed versions of Quake.
Oh I forgot - you STILL are aren`t you?------------------

Just because ID pioneered the FPS, doesn't give them the right to turn out any piece of crap like Quake 3 and expect it to gain any respect among actual gamers. Now if this were years ago, I might like it, because all it is is Q2 with a graphical makeover. And yes, I did like Q2, but that was then, and this is now. And now, UT has risen to the occasion and knocked Q3 and ID on their asses. And if you find UT too slow for you, jack the speed up to 150%, then compare it to Q3. I assure you you won't be disappointed. But I can understand why you wouldn't like UT. 2 modes for each weapon can be tricky for someone of limited mental capacity such as a quaker.
